What is buti yoga?

This activity is a fusion of three disciplines that have nothing in common with each other. But that together have achieved a fantastic result: yoga, African dance, and twerking. Once you try it, the body is activated in such a way that you do not want to stop. And also one of its advantages is that you sweat a lot, so it is ideal for losing weight.

This practice was born in the United States when Bizzie Gold, a yoga instructor, was looking to regain her physical shape after giving birth, and yoga was little for it. She also wanted to work hips, glutes, and abs. So she combined exercises until she reached what is now known as buti yoga, which she created herself.

It is about combining plyometric exercises, mainly jumping, with yoga postures and stretches and twerking movements, which are perfect for working on the rotation and flexibility of the joints. In a session of between 60-90 minutes. You can burn 500-600 calories, depending on the intensity. In addition, it tones the entire body. Especially the buttocks, hips, and abdomen.

Which has benefits?

This yoga modality focuses on improving yourself both inside and outside. Providing benefits in both so that you feel better inside and out. Buti yoga also aims to connect with yourself and with nature thanks to movements. And its choreographies originate from African dance. With energetic music that activates you at the moment.

Finally, if you want to practice buti yoga, it is as simple as visiting the Bizzie Gold website as it offers online sessions there.
